Below is a list of recommendations for CBSM presentations.
Please construct your presentation electronically as no slide projector will be available.
Speakers are encouraged to use Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 for preparing their talk. If you wish to use a more recent version of this software we recommend you have a version saved as a "PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation".
We strongly urge speakers to e-mail their final presentation to

Alternatively, if you bring it on a memory/USB stick or CD it must be loaded onto the laptops either before the 9am meeting start or in the break immediately prior to your session (i.e. for Student Session A and B, talks must be loaded either before the 9am start or during the morning tea break).
In the event of a computer failure on the day (we have backup computers and projectors) we recommend that you bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB/memory stick or CD.

. If you do arrange to bring your own laptop please ensure it has a standard XVGA 15pin (D sub) connector.
The chair of your session is advised to strictly adhere to the time allocated to each speaker. Student and New Investigator presentations will be 10 minutes plus 5 minutes of question time. Invited plenary presentations will be 40 minutes including at least 5 minutes of question time. This is a one day meeting and your timing is very important. Your allocated time slot is indicated on the program.
