Enabling Technologies Session

A working knowledge of what research equipment and facilities are available locally, and what it can offer your work, is essential to maximising your output. How often have you discovered too late that a great bit of kit was just down the road, only you didn't know about it? No longer!

This year CBSM will, in a series of short talks, showcase technologies in the WA scientific community with the purposing of fostering new research collaborations. Each 5-minute presentation will explain:

1) What the equipment does;

2) What it costs; and

3) Who to contact if you want to know more.

Research academics with first-hand experience of the equipment/service will, without too much jargon, explain what is so great about it and, hopefully, what it might be able to offer your research.

The overall aim of the session (which we hope will be an annual occurrence) is to raise awareness of new or existing equipment and expertise and is part of CBSM's ongoing commitment to support research in WA.
